Woman Arrested in Wheeler Murder

Sahara Tabriz Fakhir, 32, was arrested Tuesday for giving a false name to authorities and she will also be reportedly be charged with the murder of Jerry Wheeler in court on Wednesday.

Sahara Tabriz Fakhir, 32, was arrested Tuesday for giving a false name to authorities and the Douglas County Sentinel is reporting tonight that she will also be charged with the murder of Jerry Wheeler, a local businessman.

Douglas County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Stan Copeland confirmed to the Sentinel today that will be charged in the June 8 murder of Wheeler, 66, at his home.

The newspaper reported that Fakhir, whose home is next to Wheeler's property, will be formally charged with murder Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in Douglas County Superior Court before Judge Robert J. James.
