Update: Sheriff's Dept. Says Child Found Safe

Update: 11:40 a.m.

Five-year-old Lealand Hill has been found and is safe, according to Capt. Jeff Richards, Carroll Sheriff's Department. Deputies made a traffic stop on Highway 113 at approximately 9:30 a.m. and found Lealand and arrested the suspected kidnapper, Christopher Steven Fields. Fields was driving a family member's vehicle that was reported stolen.

The suspect is reported to be Christopher Steven Fields. He is a white, male, 5 foot, 8 inches, weighing 190 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He's wanted for kidnapping five-year-old Lealand Hill. Lealand is a white, male three feet tall, weighing 46 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Lealand was last seen wearing a red pajama shirt and black shorts. They were last seen in a stolen red Chrysler 200 bearing Georgia tag PD40UC.
