Richard Grant is an Atlanta native and has covered metro Atlanta news and events for both print and online publications since 2004.

Prior to that he spent most of a decade in the the cable television industry, first as part of the in-house Public Relations team at The Weather Channel, and later writing enterainment content for Turner Network Television and other music/entertainment Websites.
