People that DEMAND respect, need to learn how to GIVE respect and it returns naturally. People give out false statements on a blog, and get really mad when they are called out. Time to grow up. I'm not mad or upset, actually its been quiet entertaining and informative on how strong, opinionated people act when corrected, they go crazy. This is for anyone that reads this blog. Back to original story, I hope they put this horrible man away that did this horrendous act on this "child" whether she can have children or not, it was wrong and He knew exactly what He was doing to this young woman, What a shame to take her innocence away, she is missing all the things that someone her age should be enjoying. Hope we hear more about what happens to the scumbag. Thanks!

J.W. Brown was a prominent Real Estate Agent in Memphis, Tennessee. Jerry Lee Lewis married his daughter, Myra. This was Jerry Lee Lewis' THIRD wife, and they were married in the state of Mississippi. There is no validity about me NOT respecting elders and authority, and is an off the cuff rude statement again.
I agree on one thing, Mr. Lewis, his marriage never happened here and so I'm still questioning why his marriage was compared to incest laws of Georgia. I've never called anyone rude names, suggested on how people were raised, suggested that people that buy UGA (or Alabama U tags) are below average thinkers, as someone else has. When you make rude remarks that seem to be factual on a PUBLIC BLOG, and someone doesn't agree, that doesn't make it a green light to call them names or make rude statements about how they were raised, that is attacking them personally, its attacking my family (talking about my raising) again if you insist on respect, give respect, this is a two way street, not a one way for one to comment and all to agree. I respect your opinions, but not untrue statements. I've requested NO personal attacks and that includes how I was raised which was NOT proper, where I was raised (which was NOT in the back woods as you suggested). You will need to find another way to be rude to me-previous ways are not acceptable. If one is past my age of living or OLDER THAN ME, then they should act accordingly and quit being so immature and stop slinging vile comments.

Some people speak rude and then they intensify their rudeness ten fold, and I don't do the "name calling" or sling adjectives about someone I don't know, HOWEVER , I do not care about laws from an area that has some of the highest crime rates in the nation, I returned the gift of disrespect I suppose, because I grew up here, and I love this state, I suggested that the Jerry Lee Lewis story of marrying his 3rd cousin doesn't have anything to do with this state, as far as I know they were NOT from Georgia and I didn't and still don't understand what that has to do with laws in this state concerning incest. Common Sense TRUMPS rudeness, and un-warranted characteristic name calling shows weakness. Crime is wrong, and I agreed this dude needs to be put away forever, even though I rather use the electric chair, I don't want my tax dollars to be used to feed him, or clothe him for one minute. If we began using the electric chair, all these sicko's would soon get well very quickly, this comment is NOT for one single person but rather a comment of how I feel about this old creep ruining a young person's life, and to anyone that wants to compare our laws compared to cities that are full of crime, no comparison, I believe that is a dumb, totally dumb remark, If respect is wanted, then one has to give respect. I was taught at a young age, its not nice to point out someone's else's short comings, that is rude. Thanks, Ms. Limited Mentality. :)))

Charles Schwable, don't know what your thinking process is, I don't know about 3rd cousin laws here, and we're not the same state that Jerry Lee Lewis and his cousins were in when they got married, I'm sure 3rd cousins are find in Florida too, you got some of the same type folks in every state, so I take it personally when you want to trash the state YOU have chosen to move too, my state the state of Georgia, and like we've told many Yankee's over the years that move down here, WE DON'T CARE HOW YOU DO IT UP NORTH, YOU are here now, same applies for you, either enjoy living here or go back, you ain't HOG TIED here. na, na, na, na-na, na, na, na, Hey, Hey, Hey, Good bye!

I believe if there was really a DNA test, then no one is not judging here, that's proof in the pudding. HOWEVER Morally a 44 year old man having sex with a 17 year old is just crazy. He is 27 years older than this girl, she has not LIVED LIFE very long at all, He is old enough to potentially be her grandfather, so He is a SICK INDIVIDUAL, and I don't care if He sits in jail forever. Who wants to hang around an old man that likes young girls/women? If He was in my family, He would get a ear full well it would be worse than that, let kids be kids, proms, graduations, college, spring breaks, now she gets to rock a baby, and watch her peers to the "Normal" stuff, He is nothing short of a CREEP, and yea, I'm judging, get over it, cause all I need to know is the AGE FACTOR.

I ALWAYS buy a GEORGIA TAG, as 60,000 plus other do, I am a fan of UGA! My husband is a grad of GT, He would never buy a GT Tag, go figure, Tech fans don't support their team like Georgia, their football stands reflect non-support year after year, when Georgia plays Tech in Atlanta, there is more Red/Black than Black/Gold, I think that is sad. Everyone should support their team, WHOMEVER it may be.

Well, the Cobb BOE started the fight last night...Suggestions: furlough teachers and staff, stop transportation for magnet students, so forth and so on..You got your SPLOST--so here we go! It going to get ugly as I predicted cause the Cobb BOE can't agree on anything, but they spend our time/money arguing about what and who gets what, thought they were going to fulfill the list they showed us! Yea, right.

Brian, You just talk in blah, blah, circles, YES you did and DO personal attacks, and for that reason ALONE, I have read and re-read your post about dead beats, if that ain't calling people names cause they don't agree w/you, then what is it? You TRY to use big words to twist what you say, you may fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time. Just break it down and quit trying to impress folks. As I said, before you have been rude, cynical and put other's down if they don't agree w/your opinion, I don't agree w/you, doesn't make me wrong, and maybe I'm not 100% right either, but I have enough integrity to admit it at least. Again, you would be taken seriously if you didn't have such a bad attitude about other people's points. I read ALL responses, and I'm not here to make friends necessarily either, but I'm also not on here to make enemies, and obviously you are not a politician, as they usually tell people what they want to hear until they get elected. I have never ask anyone to sugar coat anything, go ahead and say what you think that's fine, but its the tone and hatefulness that makes you seem so angry about every subject put up for discussions, I didn't know it was the "Brian" hour, I thought it was discussions from everyone to be able to interject different thoughts and opinions, Guess I didn't get the memo, where we have to agree with each other.
