ReplyJWH, I agree, but we should try to allow his religion to be followed in death. Or we're no better than he was.
I would love to see the surviving bomber drawn and quartered in the streets of Boston, but that isn't gonna happen.

ReplyHe is Muslim and cremation is against his religion. Send the body back to his parents in Eastern Europe. I'm sure there could be a fund set up for that. I don't want to see tax dollars spent on that person.
He should not be buried here, it would be a disruption to the other real American's buried in any cemetery in the Boston area.

ReplyWhy are ya'll talking about guns? You should be yammering on about mental health. We have millions of drug users that have fried their brains.....and quite a few that were born crazy, this is the real issue. In every case of mass murder, the gun, bomb or knife didn't do this with out some crazy person in charge.

No, it's not going to go away. Too many people ignore this horrible problem. They're too self centered and think of themselves. Still upset over what happened over 100 years ago, but have no clue of what happens all around them now.

Let me make my point in a different direction. Our legislators are only in session for a short time. You would rather they argue over an apology for the past than work on legislation to help our police agencies fight slavery going on now? Or, perhaps they could work on tax legislation to help bring business here to alleviate some of the ridiculously high unemployment among black Georgians? PRIORITIES! Those that need an apology are just too absorbed over the wrongs of the past, they can't fix the problems of the here and now.

Hasn't any one mentioned the fact that the IRS will be in charge of our healthcare money? The IRS if fraught with deceit and control issues. This is gonna hurt every one of every political belief.
