Dead Teen's Dad Arrested In Attempt to Influence Witness
Eric Sauls, the father of vehicular homicide victim Cheyenne Sauls, was arrested Monday, charged with influencing a witness and subornation of perjury related to the civil litigation involving the death of his daughter.
Eric Sauls, 45, is being held in the Douglas County jail this morning, without bond, after being arrested Monday. Sauls is charged with influencing a witness and subornation of perjury related to the civil litigation involving the death of his daughter, vehicular homicide victim Cheyenne Sauls, according to the Sheriff's Facebook Page. Sauls is accused of offering a witness in the case a sum of money to provide false testimony in the upcoming civil case. Sauls was arrested at his home in Villa Rica without incident. The investigation was conducted by Sgt. Mike Howell. Cheyenne Sauls, 16 of Villa Rica, was killed when she was thrown from a vehicle in a car crash on Pleasant Drive, near Bright Star Rd. in Douglas County in Feb. of 2011. …
