Visitation will be Friday, June 22, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville.

Tracy L. Parson, age 56 of Wedowee, AL and Villa Rica, went home to be with our Lord on June 20. He was born October 27, 1955. Tracy was a former Motorcross Racing Champion, winning several state cups. Tracy was such an inspiration to all that knew and loved him, as we watched his horrific battle with cancer. Many times it appeared he would not see another sunrise, to surprise us all with his wonderful smile saying, "I am not giving up quite yet." Tracy was previously employed by Mrs. Smith’s Bakery as a transportation manager for MDS Logistics. He was preceded in death by two beloved brothers, Ronald Parson and Robert Parson, both of Whitesburg. He was also preceded in death by his parents: Obie and Ruby Parson of Lithia Springs. He is …
