Army Vet Ronald William Davis., 76, Dies
Funeral Services will be conducted, Thursday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Williams and Rev. Jerry Hollis officiating.
Ronald William Davis, Sr., 76, of Villa Rica, passed away Sunday, Dec. 9. He was born Jan. 30, 1936 in Richmond, IN., the son of the late William B. Davis and the late Ressie A. Trent Davis. He served in the U.S. Army, retiring after 22 years of service as Command Sgt. Major, and then worked for the United States Postal Service, retiring after 15 years. Davis was a member of Callie Harbin Baptist Church of Villa Rica. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald William Davis, Jr.; sister, Betty Jane Farr and grandson, David Matthew. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A.
