Man Pleads Guilty in 2011 Aggravated Child Molestation Case

Otis Jemison Jr., 18 of Douglasville, pled guilty to aggravated child molestation and was sentenced to Life with 25 years to serve as a mandatory minimum.

In 2011, Douglas County Sheriff's Investigator Aprile Thompson became involved with a sexual assault case that led to the arrest of Otis Jemison Jr, according to a report today on the Sheriff's Facebook page. Investigators involved with the assistance of Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Units collected facts and evidence that ultimately led to a guilty plea by the suspect. On Monday, Otis Jemison Jr., 18 of Douglasville, appeared in court and pled guilty to aggravated child molestation and was sentenced to Life with 25 years to serve as a mandatory minimum. He will have lifetime probation and be required to register as a sex offender.
