David Petraeus is the latest government official to resign after admitting an affair. According to the Associated Press, a friend and former top aide of the retired general said Petraeus began an affair with his biographer last year, just two months after becoming director of the Central Intelligence Agency. The 60-year-old Petraeus, who has been married 38 years, quit his job Friday after acknowledging the affair. The Petraeus situation is the latest in a line of political scandals involving government officials. Others in power have resigned after similar accusations. Agreed GaPatriot , a leader is supposed to be the example for those they lead. If they can not be true leaders and stand by a oath they had taken with their wife/husband then they are not true leaders of men/women. How can they trust you to lead them in combat or whatever if you can not be trusted in your own home.   more ›
