Air Force Vet Lubie Leonard Stovall III, 77, Dies
Graveside Service will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m. from the Central Baptist Church Cemetery, Central Church Rd., Douglasville with Reverend Charles Gibbs officiating.
Lubie Leonard Stovall III, 77 of Douglasville, passed away, Tuesday, Nov. 27. He was born Oct. 5, 1935 in Fulton County, to the late Lubie Leonard Stovall II and Opal Renee Holloway Stovall. He was a Veteran of the Air Force Reserve and worked during his career for Rich’s. In addition to his parents, Lubie Leonard Stovall II and Opal Renee Holloway Stovall, he was also preceded in death by his sisters: Mary Jane Stovall and Gladys Hennesy. Survivors are his wife of 38 years, Jo Ann Mason Hamrick Stovall; step-daughter and spouse, Vicki Hamrick Taylor and Mike Taylor; sister: Martha Ann Smith; sister and brother-in-law: Nell and Bill Camp; brother-in-law: Donald Hennesy.
