Lorene Smallwood Roderigas, 81, Dies
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Terry Marbutt and Jimmie Wilson officiating.
Lorene Smallwood Roderigas, age 81, of Lithia Springs, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, at Heritage Hospice in Marietta following an extended illness. She was born Sept. 16, 1931 in Rockdale County, GA., the daughter of the late Nelson Kenneth Smallwood and the late Ora McBurnett Smallwood. She was of the Baptist Faith and retired from Smurfit Stone Container Company. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She was actively involved with the Recycled Teenagers, Red Hat Club, and the Golden Age Senior Citizen Group. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them.
