Kroger Customers, Associates Raise $300,000 for Muscular Dystrophy

Kroger’s Atlanta Division customers surpassed the grocer’s $275,000 fundraising goal and donated $300,000 from March 17 through 30 to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Kroger’s Atlanta Division customers surpassed the grocer’s $275,000 fundraising goal and donated $300,000 from March 17 through 30 to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The annual fundraiser encouraged Kroger customers to purchase $1 or $5 shamrocks to help MDA send young patients to summer camps and provide comprehensive health care, medical equipment, wheelchair repair, support services and clinics to those affected by the 43 different forms of neuromuscular diseases. Kroger-Atlanta Division has supported MDA for the last 13 years. Douglasville Kroger stores will spread the luck of the Irish by participating in the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Shamrocks program from now through March 30.

Atlanta Division Kroger stores, including those in Douglas County area, will spread the luck of the Irish by participating in the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Shamrocks program from now through March 30.
