Douglasville Robbery May Be Linked to Paulding One

No arrests have been made in last week’s robbery in Douglasville, nor one that happened late last year in South Paulding.

A robbery at a Douglasville business last week could be tied to a similar crime that remains unsolved more than seven months later. The Douglas County Sheriff's and Douglasville Police Departments last week announced they were seeking two men after an armed robbery at the JP Jones Petro gas station on Bankhead Highway. Authorities report that one of the two suspects fired a round as they entered the store and robbed the clerk of the cash. The two may have been dropped off at the business by a gray, four-door car with fog lights. Two suspects are being sought after an armed robbery Wednesday night at the JP Jones Petro gas station at 7306 Bankhead Highway.

Two suspects are being sought by the Douglas County Sheriff's and Douglasville Police Departments after an armed robbery Wednesday night at the JP Jones Petro gas station at 7306 Bankhead Highway, according to the Sheriff's Facebook page. One of the two suspects fired a round as they entered the store and robbed the clerk of the cash. The attached photos are of the suspects leaving the store. The report says they were possibly dropped off at the location by a gray, four-door car with fog lights.
