One Home Invasion Suspect Arrested, One Still at Large

One man has been arrested and one is still at large after Friday's Douglas County home invasion.

One man is in custody and one is still at large, after Friday morning's home invasion where two men, impersonating police officers, restrained and pistol whipped a man while stealing two guns and two laptop computers and leading police on a high-speed chase. Lt. Bruce Ferguson of the Douglas County Sheriff's Major Case Unit said that two black males entered an apartment at Stewart Mill Landing, announcing they were police officers. They restrained and beat the husband, while not harming the wife. Emanual Beague, 26, remains in a Douglas County jail after being arrested Friday. He is charged with kidnapping and armed robbery, according to arrest records. The police recovered the stolen AK-47 and AR-15, as well as two laptops. Ferguson said …

2 Home Invasion Suspects Arrested

Jamaal Pinkney, 23, and girlfriend Raven Stephens, 22, were arrested by deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff's Department this week in conjunction with a home invasion that took place on Marsh Avenue in Lithia Springs on Dec. 31.

Jamaal Pinkney, 23, and girlfriend Raven Stephens, 22, were arrested by deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff's Department this week in conjunction with a home invasion that took place on Marsh Avenue in Lithia Springs on Dec. 31. Stephens was arrested on Tuesday at her residence and charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. When Stephens bonded out of jail she was followed by deputies as she walked along Highway 78, Detective Jay Smith said, Douglas County Sheriff's Department. "We figured she'd contact her boyfriend to pick her up," Smith said."The vehicle that picked her up matched the description of the vehicle we were looking for." A traffic stop was then conducted and the driver, Pinkney, was taken into custody. He matched the …
