Alexander Girls Take Golf Championship

Alexander girls topped competitors from all five county high schools with a score of 91.

I will just say a few things and you please edit for the website:   Alexander High School won the Douglas County Championship for girls golf on Monday at West Pines Golf Club, with a team score of 91. All five county high schools were represented for the nine hole match. Douglas County High School came in second place with 109. The best round of the day was turned in by eleventh-grader Emily Cunningham of Alexander with a 45. Sophomore Amber Sanders also played well and shot 46. Alexander will retain the trophy for the second year in a row, …
