Navy Vet Everett Willard Horton, 80, Dies
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tim Constien officiating. The U.S. Navy will provide military honors.
Everett Willard Horton, 80 of Douglasville, passed away, Tuesday, Jan. 29. He was born July 29, 1932 in Clay County, AL., to the late Egbert Willard Horton and Musie Jane Cavender Horton. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, Korean Theatre, and worked during his career as a Security Guard. He attended Bright Star Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Egbert Willard Horton and Musie Jane Cavender Horton, he was also preceded in death by his sister: Ida Horton Whittermore; brothers: Edward Horton and Elmo Horton. Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Jimmy Kight of Senoia, son and daughter-in-law: Ronnie and Fey Horton of Stockbridge; step-son: Larry Wallace of Duluth; step-daughter: Janet Wallace of McDonough; …
