Betty Ann Meier Evans, 72 of Douglasville, passed away, Sunday, March 25. She was born June 18, 1939 to the late Karl W. Vehling and Anna Schienk Vehling. She worked during her career as a customer service representative in the retail industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Meir, and her husband, Otis Edward Evans, Jr. Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law: Rita and Eric Sauer; Lela and Bryan Jones, son and daughter-in-law: Ricky and Lisa Meier all of Powder Springs. A very special thanks to Ethel Kelley with Homestead Hospice for her loving care for our mother. No services are planned. In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated.
