Alice Matilda Hasford Henslee, 86, Dies
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 until 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating.
Alice Matilda Hasford Henslee, 86 of Villa Rica, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18. She was born on Oct. 5, 1925 in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Jim and Farie Tibbetts Hasford. She worked for a short period of time at the Atlanta West Hospital in the Housekeeping Department and has primarily been a homemaker. She was a member of the Ephesus Baptist Church in Winston. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Henslee; sons, Hubert Verlon Henslee, Kenny Melvin Henslee and Jerry Mac Henslee; sisters, Lessie Gibson and Jewell Cartte; brother, Leon Hasford.
