Vietnam Vet Jose 'Joe' Jesus Solorio, Jr., 66, Dies
The family will receive friends, Saturday, Jan. 26, from 10 until 11 a.m. the service hour at the funeral home.
Jose “Joe” Jesus Solorio, Jr., 66 of Douglasville, passed away, Jan. 13. He was born Nov. 5, 1946 in Chicago, to the late Jose Jesus Solorio, Sr. and Antonia Esqueda Solorio. He was a U.S. Army Infantry Veteran serving in Vietnam, and retired after 37 years from Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a member of the American Legion Post 145 and was Catholic by faith. Survivors are his wife Patricia “Trish” Carol Brubaker Solorio of Douglasville; sons and daughters-in-law: Anthony Joseph & Colleen Solorio of Dekalb, Illinois, Daniel and Anne Solorio, Brian and Erica Solorio, all of Chicago, Illinois; step-children: Patrick Joseph and Michele Scuro of Coraopolis, PA and Victoria Elizabeth Scuro of Sewickley, PA and twelve grandchildren.
