Yeager Middle School opened in 2002 on Kings Hwy, just off of Hwy 5 in Douglasville. The 2010-2011 enrollment consists of 830 students and 60 teachers. Dr. Gamrick Askew is the current principal. The school has many fine arts programs and sports activities for students to participate in. Artistic development is emphasized at Yeager with programs like Art, Band, Chorus, Drama and Music Appreciation. The Mustang sports teams include basketball, soccer, track and field, cheerleading, football and softball.
