Congratulations…”saved for real” you are right. The bible does say touch not my anointed. It also says that we should not gossip or belittle one another. The Bible also says not to commit adultery either, but we won’t go there will we? Yes, the bible is taught here Genies to Revelations picking out all of the parts that will scare you to “Life”… right is that the saying. Not forgetting that, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So, why when one sin is exposed by umm let’s just use pregnancy before marriage. The mother is belittled and punished verbally and openly before the congregation when “children are a gift from God” or did I miss apart in the bible that says only the ones conceived within the institute of marriage. The case that I experienced there did not show an example of “simplicity or balance”, but of dictatorship and opportunistic ways to plant fear and continually manipulate the conscious of the unknown and fearful. This is NOT MY GOD. Jesus was sent to set the captive free so why are you boldly agreeing with condemnation?

Saved For Real.....Interesting.....I would dare say that this is someone in leadership there. One who can attest to every negative review on this blog, but chooses to turn there back and say he will change one day. How long, not long, (5 years), how long not long (10 years), how long, not long (15 years). You still there saying how long....and when you get to heaven the Father will say truth came to you many times, but you called that glitch in your spirit the devil. I was trying to enlighten you, but you refuse to see. So I left you there asking, HOW LONG, NOT LONG....with no change! You've prayed, fasted, spoke in tongues, and yet....still the same...no change! Somethings He's given you the power to do. You can stay blind or be free. It's your choice. So don't be upset with me because I'm free, you could be free too, if you stop saying HOW LONG.....NOW SALVATION IS! I sounded like your pastor didn't I.

If you have been in this ministry for 19 years, then you can attest to over 70% of the issues I outlined in my review. Now maybe the other 30%, you wouldn't have been privy to. As a matter of fact, most of the negative comments out here you can attest to them. I'm not trying to bash your pastor, however I bump into people that have attended that ministry that have been severely scarred. I don't totally blame him for it, because people are responsible for the truth they allow to take root in their spirit. When you have major key parts of the ministry that walk away, that in itself ought to be an eye opener. Even the world would take a second look if key appointed employees after years of working with the company and building it decided one day to leave it all. I will say that people get saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, but the one thing they never really experience is what the scripture calls "LIFE" and "LIFE" more abundantly. God desires His people to be burden free, no weights. He wants them to experience His love which is unconditional. Lori, I pray that you continue to grow in the things of God. You a very nice lady and have always treated me and my family with love. Peace my sister.

My family and I have been members for 19 years now. My Family and I have been truely blessed over the years. All of my Children attended the Stars of Heaven Daycare and they were treated with Love and compassion. I'm Speaking to the disgruntled person's postings "If you were so unhappy why would you stay for 18 years". I'm so sorry you had such problems.Also I'm hoping you staty in the Body Of Christ no matter what Vineyard you have chosen. But I can attest for Administration and the Body Christ at The Day Star Tabernacle that everyone truely loves each other with the Love of Christ. To anyone who is looking for a Faith Believing Church, You have found It at The Day Star Tabernacle Church Where the SON always Shines. To our Apostle and Pastor Horton may you both continue to be blessing as you both continue to follow Christ.

First and foremost, there is no perfect church because we are all imperfect people. We are to pray one for another. The bible says to touch not my anointing and do my prophet no harm. At this church the word of God is truly taught with balance and simplicity. Yes, church is lengthy, but what other agenda do I have on Sunday. Absolutely none. We are living in a time where people are compromising the word of God, but not this church. It teaches you how to have a real relationship with the Lord and not be religious. You will hear the truth and nothing but the truth. The Pastor teaches the bible from Genesis to Revelation. I give this church a thumbs and I would recommend it.

Concerned
It saddens me to see the Body of Christ so disgruntled with one another. So much time is spent tearing each other down instead of joining together to combat the real enemy. If what was said about the leadership in that ministry is true, prayer is needed for them and all that attend. I hope the ones that posted statements are praying because I will. I too have faults. The person that invested 18 years there I hope they also had a positive return. The wisest stockholder would not continue to invest or leave their funds where there were no returns on the investment. It has been said when someone has a good experience they might tell 1 person but if it is unpleasant they will tell many. I do know people that are a part of this ministry and they seem to have genuine relationships with God. I have attended on more than 1 occasion and deem the leadership as bold and confident in the things of God. Do people get saved there? Are lives changed? Is the word of God taught? I would have to say yes. How time & money is spent should be determined by the leadership in one’s household. Where one decides to join their faith is between God & the leadership in a home. Let’s believe the best for everyone that shares the gospel & sow seeds of faith & not discord. I thought satan was the enemy. I would recommend this ministry and plan to go again myself.

I am amazed that this guy is still able to get away with this after all these years.I too was member and was afraid to leave because he literally curses you if you leave that church. I found out he LIED. God loves me and has shown himself strong and present with me after I left that CULT. Someone needs to investigate this guy because the poor few people left there are blindly following and he takes advantage of the weak and those of low self-esteem. He prides himself of being educated in sociology and he uses it to try and entrap the poor souls. I pray that someone investigates because he uses the money for his own use and hide behinds the church. I feel so sorry for those who have been manipulated to stay. They have adultery running rampant, child abuse and the like. Channel 5 came there one time to investigate a child situation and they paid them off because one of their members has a high position with Channel 5. Something needs to be done and I will definitely testify.

WOW! I served at this church for about 18 years before I was wise enough to know that I could leave with the blessings of God. I've been gone for about 8 years now and know many people still there. They amazing thing about reading these reviews is that the people I know that are still there insist that change has come. Most of you who have shared your experiences have proven them incorrect. After being at this ministry for 18 years I can attest to everything written below is true. This man needs spiritual authority or a board strong enough to speak correct his error driven ways. I don't think that most of his congregants are there because of the words he speak but because of the relationships they've developed. It's hard to find people that genuine love you and will help you through what ever your plight is. However the pastor is a whole different subject. I would love for the government to take a look at the finances down there. Among all the things mention below, no one has mentioned the lack of controls and audits of the monies given that ministry.

This church looks very good on paper and they put on a good facade, but once you attend more than twice, you will see the true colors. I wondered why such a large beautiful building from a distance has such few members inside. I found out after joining is that many people have left that church. A lot of the leadership have left and when I asked why I was told that "things are not what they appear to be" I learned that first hand and quickly ran and took my family from this place. On top of it all they preach an unbiblical message that is not in line with rightly divided scripture. Some of the people walk around like zombies and believe the pastor more than the Word. He caters to women because I believe the pastor is insecure and intimidated by strong men. Just my observation and I joined for a short time until the real church was exposed. Go and see for yourself and you will see that every statement is true. They need deliverance there starting with the leadership.

This church is filled with the holy spirit. The Pastor educates, he's not like other Pastors that try to just lift your spirits and make you feel good- he speaks the truth, Revelation and prophecy.

Someone mentioned the pastor will call you out, its the spirit he's trying to convey to come out Ephesians 6:12 we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high place. You must be open to receive it. When I was attending this church things were moving in my life I was growing. I moved years ago and miss this church so much.

let me first say j pressley i believe u i kno for a fact tht they wil do by any means necessary to keep the reputation of wht really goes on down there a secret the head pastor there is so controllin he tries to dictate every move u mke & if u fight against his commands he embrass u n front of congregation callin u out belittlin u he also has temper tantrums over the pulpit yellin & screamin at the congregations calln thm stupid n ignorant
& if the sound mess up he wil throw the mic at someone who does the sound &once this happen he goes on a rampant about everythings u wil spend two or three hours standing while he tell u all ur faults n fuss for church not growin & everthing tht has gone wrong there dont try n sit down from there he goes on to tell u how lazy n disrespectful u r really ? im disrespectful& lazy bcuz my feet n back hurt i dont thnk so this is just a few of the horrors i went tho there i could go on & on (the good - i met some nice ppl who all had the same passion for christ like me we all just ended up n the same nitemare) now tht im free i will tell every1 not to go there not even to vst they wil not rest til they get u to join there sick twistd OCCULT

I left this church because of several male members of the church that would sexually harass the women members, and the pastor would only make those accuse men apologize, but not seek criminal actions against them. For that the men would secretly sexually harass or assult the women or make our lives a living hell. When someone is being wrongfully treated, the chuch elders should never make a person feel ashamed. I would think to avoid a church scandal posted on the network, they would handle this situation a lot better. So, my opinion, is to stay clean away from this institution, if you know what's good for you. People here are sick puppies!
