The New Manchester Elementary School opened it's doors in 2002 with only 355 students at that time. In 2006, the school added 21 new classrooms and a new wing to accommodate approximately 980 students. Today the school has an enrollment of approximately 800. New Manchester, led by Principal Dr. Sandra Shuler, has an emphasis on going green and has reduced the frequency of the Eagle newsletter to quarterly, while making it available on-line as well.
