The Mitchell family has owned and operated this store for three generations. The business started as an appliance repair company, then sold parts, and a few years later sold the appliances, too. The store now sells and services GE appliances and parts. The Mitchells service everything they sell. The store stocks many applicance parts, and can special order anything needed. And the Mitchells custom install appliances, including cabinet modifications and built-ins. 

The historic Georgia marble building was originally the West-Dodson Ford Motor Company, and was built around 1939.  The Dodsons and the Mitchells are distant cousins.
