Douglasville School of Dance has been a part of our lives since we moved to D'ville when my daughter was in the first grade. This fall, she will begin her 12th year at DSD and we are already grieving the end of what has been an absolutely delightful run. Our daughter has truly blossomed as a dancer at DSD and plans to continue to enjoy dance in her life as long as the Lord gives her strength. This year's recitals were over the top! We are so thankful for Ms. Sheryl and the other instructors for their God-centered "dance ministry". We are looking forward to senior year with great expectations!

They really are the BEST. This years' recital blew me away. My daughters have been attending 13 and 10 years, respectively. They LOVE it. I cannot say enough about the talented and professional staff. They have taught our girls so much. There's not enough room here for me to list it all, but recitals, parades, special performances...it's all wonderful at DSD. We have been nothing but completely satisfied with the years our girls have spent here.
Here is a shout out for Douglasville School of Dance! My daughter took dance lessons here for 14 years. She graduated this year, so our time has sadly come to an end. Not only did this school provide instruction in dance in a Christ-centered atmosphere, but my daughter grew in self-esteem and confidence to perform in front of a large audience which has served her in other aspects of her life. The recitals each year are fabulous and entertaining. I am so proud to have been part of this school for 14 years. Best wishes for continued success to all.
Douglasville School of Dance is the BEST! My daughter has been taking for many years and she continues to love it and be inspired every year. The wholesome Christian enviroment is unmatched in Douglas County. God is truly given the glory in every aspect from the music used to the costumes these girls wear. The 2012 dance recital was outstanding. My family and I felt as though we were attending a NY Broadway production. Congratulations to the dancers and staff at Douglasville School of Dance!! Throughout my 14 years at Douglasville School of Dance, I have had nothing but great teachers and a lot of fun. The atmosphere is laid-back and it is a Christian environment, which makes dancing there even better! There are opportunities to take different types of dance and take all your favorite types too. The recitals are always my favorite because performing the dances is so much fun and they are very well organized for the families and the dancers. There are also opportunities to be in performing groups, such as Kickline which was one of my many aspirations while I was growing up. Being in Kickline allows you to do so many things that you would never get to experience otherwise, like performing in the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas parade. I just graduated this year so unfortunately, my time there is over but I absolutely recommend DSD for any age!!
