Douglas County Occupational Tax Office

The Douglas County Occupational Tax Office issues Occupational Tax Registrations (or business licenses) for home and commercial businesses within Douglas County. This office is also responsible for issuing Door to Door Sales Permits; Server Permits (for restaurants or bars to serve alcohol); collections of excise tax for liquor, beer, wine and hotels; Passenger Carrying Vehicle Identification Badges (for limousines and taxi cab drivers); Alcohol Beverage Licenses and special events.  Susan Furr is the current senior secretary and Joan Davidson is the current compliance officer.
