Reading, writing and arithmetic have been taught at Bill Arp Elementary School for more than 150 years. Originally located behind the Prays Mill Baptist Church, the school was relocated in the early 1900s and then finally moved to it's current address on Alexander Parkway before the 2006-2007 school year. Bill Arp students make use of today's latest technology at one of the most modern schools in the area. Approximately 850 students are taught at the two-story school, attending kindergarten through fifth grade. The Bill Arp Patriot is the school mascot and wears the school colors of red, white and blue. Donna Pritchard is the principal.
