Nathanyel, Freddie are County Shelter Pets of the Week

These pets are available now at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

Each week, the Douglas County Animal Shelter highlights a cat and a dog as the “Pets of the Week. All animals at the Shelter are looking for loving and permanent homes, and it is hoped that the “Pets of the Week” highlight will help bring attention to all of the animals currently housed at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

Nathanyel #8500 is a beautiful black male adult domestic short cat. He is “purrrrfectly” ready to adopt and take home into a loving, permanent home today. He is just one of the many wonderful cats and kittens from which to select from the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

Freddie #8529 is a very sweet, tall, lean Rat Terrier adult male. This friendly, handsome dog would be a great, fun-loving addition to the family. He and his canine kennel friends would love to go home with a loving family.
