Kohl's Recognizes Douglasville Teen
Justis Ward qualifies for a chance to win a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.
The Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program today recognized children who have made a positive impact in their communities through volunteerism, and one of the recipients is from Douglasville.
Justis Ward, 18, was one of the 69 Georgians who received a $50 gift card, a certificate and the chance to qualify for a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.
Nearby Cobb County had six winners.
From the nearly 200 regional winners that Kohl's plans to announce in July, 10 national winners will receive $10,000 each in scholarships. Additionally, Kohl’s will donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner’s behalf.
