South Cobb Recreation Center Come Support our "At Risk & Homeless Youth"

Pure Faith Youth Outreach Inc. will be collaborating with Teen What’s The Rush Inc. and Mother Reaching Daughter’s Community Outreach Inc. to host Celebrate Life…Youth Summit.

The purpose of this event is to Celebrate the Life of Our Future Leaders, our children.  We want to let our youth’s know that they have someone they can depend upon without fear or judgment. 

There will be talented young people telling stories about finding hope, purpose and the strength to face:

• Coping with Peer Pressure
• Teen Pregnancy
• Underage Drinking and Substance Abuse
• Sexual Transmitted Diseases
• Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence
• Relationship and Domestic Violence Among Teenagers

• Gang Violence and High School Drop Out Prevention

These topics will be expressed through Music, Dance, Drama, Poetry and much more. Style Success Fashion consulting company will provide free tips and resources to learn more about what it takes to enter the workforce and succeed as a young worker. Topics such as work ethics, dress for success, resume writing, and interviewing techniques will be shared with the youth. In addition, we will provide on- site mock interviews, style advice and samples of appropriate clothing. The youth will leave inspired to project their best self.

Volunteer’s needed:

We are currently seeking Youth and Adult volunteers for this awesome event. We have volunteer opportunities’ for the Food Service Team, Greeters, Setup and Take Down Team and much more.  All Volunteers must arrive by 8 am for volunteer orientation. We’re looking for each volunteer to commit to 3- 5  hours of volunteer services.

Potential Sponsor:

More than 400 “At Risk Youth’s” from various Communities, Children/Youth Shelters, Youth and their parents will be attending this event.  This event will make a positive impact on the quality of our childrens lives and positive impact is what we need for our youth’s. We are asking for your help to ensure a successful event. Your contribution to our event would go a long way to making these youth’s feel they have someone they can talk to open about various issues they are faced with on a daily basis.   Also, part the proceeds will go to a Youth Shelter to provide Book Shelves, Reading Books for the GED classroom, Baseball Equipment (Baseballs, Bats, Gloves and Bases) and Resume Portfolios for youth to carry with them during their job searches.  All Sponsors of the Celebrate Life…Youth Summit Event will receive the following benefits
