WGTC Women Knock Off Snead State, 68-63

The West Georgia Tech women's basketball team defeated another Division I junior college Saturday afternoon as they knocked off Snead State Community College on the road, 68-63.

West Georgia Tech has won three-straight contests to move to 5-3 on the season.

Kelsey Walthall led the Knights with 18 points (5-of-13 from the field) and Kadriana Howard added 16 (4-of-12 from the field).

Keonna Harris added 14 points to round out the double-figure scoring for West Georgia Tech.

The Golden Knights shot just 27 percent from the field but offset that with 19 steals.

West Georgia Tech will break for the Thanksgiving holiday before returning to action on December 2 when they host Truett-McConnell College at 6 p.m.
