Orlandis Hill and Jon Perry both scored 22 points to lead West Georgia
Tech to a 100-68 victory over the Truett-McConnell College junior
varsity Monday night in Carrollton.
The Golden Knights improved to 2-8 on the season against mostly NJCAA D-1 competition.
West Georgia Tech shot 51.9 percent from the field (42-of-81) while holding TMC to just 31-percent shooting (20-of-64).
West Georgia Tech dominated the glass, outrebounding the Bears 55-36.
Perry added 10 rebounds to his 22-point effort to record a double-double.
Xavier Jennings and Jalen Bracey both had 13 points to join Perry and Hill in double-figures for WGTC.
The Golden Knights travel to Marietta this Friday to take on Chattahoochee Tech, thirty minutes following the women’s game, which is at 5:30 p.m.
Chattahoochee Tech won the previous meeting, 101-85, on Nov. 8.
