Potential for Rain Forces WGTC's Football Tryout to Sunday
A wet Saturday forecast has forced West Georgia Tech football officials to move Saturday's scheduled football tryout to Sunday, starting at noon.
The tryout/workout session will still take place at the Carroll County Recreation Department, located at 1201 Newnan Road, and is open to unsigned high school seniors, postgraduates and potential transfers.
Participants must bring cleats and an unofficial copy of transcripts.
West Georgia Tech will officially kick off the season next fall as a Division 1-playing member of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

West Georgia Technical College a member of the NJCAA/GCAA will be hosting football tryouts for unsigned seniors. This will be the only tryout in the West Georgia area for 2013.
What to bring: Cleats, unofficial copy of transcript(s) (high school and/or college), players are encouraged to wear their high school spirit gear.
