Golden Knights Men Knock Off GA Northwestern 91-63

The West Georgia Tech men's basketball team remained unbeaten in conference play with a 91-63 road victory over the Georgia Northwestern Bobcats Saturday afternoon.

West Georgia Tech improved to 7-13 overall and 2-0 in GCAA – Region 17 action. Georgia Northwestern is now 5-10, 1-3.

West Georgia Tech led by 12 at halftime, 47-35. WGTC’s largest lead was 34, at the 3:30-mark in the second half (89-55).

Orlandis Hill led the Golden Knights with 18 points. He dished out eight assists, also a team-high.

Codi Linton added a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

Jalen Bracey (16 points),  Martez Winston (12 points)Jon Perry (10 points) and Devante Orebeau (10 points, 7 assists, 6 steals) rounded out the double-figure scoring for West Georgia Tech.

WGTC will return home for a conference match-up against Southern Crescent on Wednesday night. Tip-time is 7:30 p.m. in LaGrange.
