"Labor Day Weekend Fowler Fest"

On Saturday, September 1, 2012, The Women’s Entrepreneurial Exchange, better known as “WEE”, will host ,”Labor Day Weekend Fowler Fest” , in celebration of Labor Day, the last official holiday of the summer. This is the first of what “WEE” hope, will become an annual Douglas County event. “Fowler Fest” will be held between 10:00am and 2:00pm, at Fowler Field Park, 3902 Chapel Hill Road, Douglasville Ga.30134. Fowler Fest is FREE FOR THE PUBLIC!!! 

This will be a day filled with family fun and excitement and an opportunity for you and the family to participate in exciting games and events and to spend some time just relaxing and unwinding with all of your friends and neighbors. There will be a host if activities for the whole family. 

There will be art exhibits, arts and craft demos, jewelry displays, food vendors and many other local businesses and business owners displaying their merchandise. “WEE” are also soliciting our local civic groups and organizations to come out and represent their particular organization. This will be a great opportunity to promote your group.

For the kids, there will be a huge inflatable park including water features created by WOW Inflatable’s of Douglasville. There will also be Italian Ice, Snow cones, Cotton Candy and other great treats for everyone to enjoy. During the course of the day there will be a variety of games and activities. See if you still have those hula hoop skills and participate in our Hula Hoop Contest. “WEE” dare you not to wind up with egg on your face at the Egg Races and please don’t get “sacked” at the Sack Races. Join in 3 Legged Races, Jump Rope, the Horse Shoe Tournament and other fun activities that you and the entire family will enjoy.

“WEE” are also looking for all types of vendors for this event.
