Girl Scout Summer Badge Workshop/Day camp

Enroll your daughter now!  Girl Scout Troop 7984 is hosting a Summer Badge Workshop/Day camp.  All girls entering K5 through 5th grade this coming fall are eligible to enroll.  We have planned two weeks of EXTREME fun and very Educational activities.  The registration fee for this event includes membership for each participant to be a part of GSGATL until September 2012.  Our first week is Water, Water, Everywhere (June 6th through the 10th from 9am until 3pm) The girls will be learning about all aspects of water.  We will have fun science experirments, research natural water, learn about water conservation, get a visit from a Fire Department and their water truck and of course water playtime.

Our 2nd week is Pioneer and Native American Indian Days.  Our girls will be making many crafts related to Indian's and these will include bracelets, necklaces, clay sculptures and hair pieces.  The girls will also get a chance to learn Native American dances as well as enjoy Story Telling from Joni Lovegrove that will take us through the Trail of Tears.  During this week we will also have a family event on Thursday evening where we will enjoy a traditional Native American Meal and watch as we see some true Native American Indians show us how they danced around the camp fire.

Please don't hestiate to call with any questions or concerns that you may have.

Weekly participation fee is $100.00 (t-shirts are an additional $7.00 each) Two fun patches will be given for each session of camp and they are $1.00 for the set.  So, to register for one week you would need $108.00 and this would include 1 t-shirt and 1 set of patches.  If you chose to regsiter for the second week you would not have to pay for another t-shirt so your fee would be $101.00.  I may be reached at Troop7984@gmail.com
