Alexander Splits Doubleheader at Creekview
The finale of the best-of-three series will happen Saturday.
Since the qualified for the GHSA AAAA State Baseball Tournament as the No. 3 seed from Region 5-AAAA, they had to make the trek from Douglas County to Canton to play the Grizzlies.
After the teams split games of a doubleheader on Friday, the Cougars will have to visit one more time on Saturday to settle the best-of-three series to see who moves on into the second round.
Alexander won the first game, 10-6, but Creekview stayed alive by winning the night cap, 12-6.
