Background

 my purpose for starting this blog is to share my deep interests in technology, especially in the area of computer science. My goal is to feature and blog about open source software, primarily Linux, which is the other operating system for your computers. Linux is the name of a computer operating system that is not widely used in homes of the United States, but is very popular in Canada, the rest of the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

In the United States businesses of all sizes use Linux. The reasons why businesses primarily medium to large sized one’s settle with Linux operating systems on their hardware is driven by the inherent security features that the Linux OS exhumes. These businesses have widely adapted the Linux OS as the interface for majority of backend transactions and computations services.

Many businesses use computer systems to manage the organization’s everyday activities. For instance, bank transactions, accounting, databases and controlling high stake and security sensitive data have Linux installed on them. Linux more so than any other software computer operating system hosts applications that manage the billions of transactions that businesses implement daily. The terminology ascribed to computer systems that handle business transactions is Enterprise level computers systems. The hardware requirements for machines, primarily servers, cost more significantly than the machines name, generally referred to as computer hardware “cpu”....purchased from Best Buy, Micro Center, etc.
