Yeager Middle Cares for Soldiers

Six caring BETA Club members at Yeager Middle School have been busy with their boxes.

These boxes were filled with all types of goodies and included magazines, toiletries, holiday surprises and cards, of course.

This year, Tamara Allen, chorus teacher at Yeager, supplied the BETA Club with names of soldiers, including her husband, who are serving in Afghanistan. These soldiers have no family, to speak of, and they will receive three boxes each. BETA members were pleased to have a direct contact with Allen’s husband.

This is just one of the many service projects that BETA members do each year and holidays are special for spreading the joy!
