Teachers of the Year Recognized
The recognitions brought out the largest crowd to the Douglas County Board of Education meeting possibly this year with more than 30-40 people standing outside the boardroom doors as the district's 32 teachers of the year were being honored.
Douglas County School System 2011-12 Teachers of the Year for each of the district’s 32 schools and Holly Springs Elementary School were recognized at the beginning of the Board of Education meeting by Superintendent Gordon Pritz Monday night.
The recognitions brought out the largest crowd to the school board possibly this year with more than 30-40 people standing outside the boardroom doors as the teacher of the year were being honored. The winning teachers were:
