PROBE College Fair Set for September

PROBE college fairs help students with important decisions.

A Douglas County PROBE College Fair will be held at Arbor Place Mall on Sept. 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event is open to the public and admission is free.

Approximately 45,000 Georgia high school students and their parents will explore the options of post-secondary education this fall at one of the many PROBE College Fairs held across the state. PROBE is the organized college fair tour that attracts representatives from non-profit educational institutions to shopping malls, schools, and other community venues throughout the state of Georgia.

More than 100 colleges are expected at the Douglas County event. Students and parents will have the opportunity to speak with the representatives about financial aid, housing, programs of study, admissions requirements, scholarships, and campus life.

Students should pre-register online at www.gotocollegefairs.com and print out their barcode for the college representatives to scan. For more information, contact Ruby Byers at 770-651-2078 or BRIDGES@douglas.k12.ga.us.
