Relay for Life Kickoff Highlights Weekend

Here's a look at upcoming events this weekend.

Relay for Life Kickoff Rally
Saturday, Jan. 21 at 8:30 a.m. at the , 2105 Mack Rd. There will be food, music, fun and more. Teams can register at www.douglasrelay.org. Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society will be held Friday to Saturday, April 27 through 28 at Deer Lick Park. Computer and Electronics Recycle and Reuse Collection
Saturday, Jan 21. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Midway United Methodist Church, 1930 Midway Rd. Will be collecting old computers, computer monitors, cell phones, and other electronic components (no old televisions). Computer hard drives will be overwritten before disposal or reuse. VA Seminar at The Benton House

Silent Auction to Benefit Komen for the Cure at
Saturday Jan. 21 at 7 p.m., located at 9459 Georgia Highway 5. Open to the public, and a $10 donation is requested. Light refreshments will be provided, "dancy" casual attire is requested. Featuring auction items from Chick-fil-A, Sanjo Fitness, Scentsy, Pete Drummond Photography, The Dance Affair, Greentree Day Spa, Mary Kay, La Salsa, and more with all proceeds benefitting the Atlanta affiliate of Susan G. Komen.

Douglas County Honor Band Performances at Theatre
