Douglas Schools Close Early
Douglas County Schools are closing early due to weather conditions.
The Douglas County School System will release students one hour early today. Release times are 1:45 p.m. for elementary and 2:30 p.m. for middle and high schools. High school students who drive are released now.
Parents who drive their children to school are able to pick them up at anytime. All Tuesday after school activities and programs are cancelled for today, including after school programs, athletics, extracurricular activities, practices and meetings.
School system staff will continue to monitor conditions and a decision about Wednesday will be made at a later time.
