For the 13th consecutive year, the will be filled with the wonderful sounds of children singing during the holidays.

Weekdays between Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Friday, Dec. 16, groups from schools in Douglas County will perform beginning at 12:15 p.m. on the Grand Staircase of the Courthouse Atrium. Their music will resound through the 165-foot high Atrium, filling the Courthouse with the sounds of the season.

The concerts have become a holiday tradition. They give our schools an unique public venue to show off the musical talents of their students which help them develop their musical and performance abilities, as well as their self-confidence.  The concerts will be broadcast live on dctv23, and replayed on weekends (12:15 p.m. concerts on Saturdays beginning at 11 a.m., and 12:45 p.m. concerts on Sundays beginning at 11 a.m., all concerts replayed in order of appearance). Every Douglas County public school receives an invitation to perform and we schedule time for every chorus that wishes to perform. The concerts will also be webcasted live on www.CelebrateDouglasCounty.com.
