Today Last Chance to Vote Early

Anyone can go to any of the five locations to vote. They are: the Douglas County Courthouse; Deer Lick Park; Boundary Waters; the Old Courthouse and the Dog River Library.

Today is Douglasville's last chance to vote early in the presidential primary.

As of Tuesday, there had been 1,179 votes cast in person and 170 votes received by mail, according to Laurie Fulton, Douglas County elections supervisor.

The Georgia Primary Election will be held on March 6. On election day, all voters must vote at their assigned polling place and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Mail-in ballots will be accepted until 7 p.m. on March 6.
