Rep. Roger Bruce Elected Chairman, First Formal Douglas County Delegation

Rep. Roger Bruce represents House District 61 and was first elected into the Georgia House of Representatives in 2002.

Members of the first formal Douglas County Delegation have elected Representative Roger Bruce as their chairman. The delegation members are Rep. Roger Bruce (D), Rep. LaDawn Jones (D), Rep. Sharon Beasley-Teague (D), Rep. Kim Alexander (D), Rep. Michael Micah Gravely (R), Rep. Dustin Hightower (R), and Sen. Donzella James (D).

Rep. Bruce represents House District 61 and was first elected into the Georgia House of Representatives in 2002. In his role as State Representative, he has served on several committees including the Insurance, Education, and Judiciary committees. He is excited to continue to serve his constituents as the Chairman of the Douglas County Delegation.

“I am honored to be elected to serve as Chairman of the Douglas County Delegation,” said Rep. Bruce. “I encourage the Douglas County community to engage with me and the delegation to make Douglas County the best county in Georgia.”
