The Douglasville City Council is reviewing the license of the because teens are believed to have purchased alcohol there before a fatal crash. Alan Begner, a lawyer representing Rakeshbhaim "Rocky" Patel and the Chapel Hill Package Store, addressed the City Council at Monday night's meeting. Begner offered a solution to the council, in part, that Patel be bought-out by the other partial owner of the store, Panna Patel. Currently Panna Patel owns 63 percent of the store and Rocky owns 27 percent. Begner said that Panna would hire a new, local, store manager to run the package store, while she continues to reside in Calhoun, GA.

The City Council decided to hold off on a decision in the matter until their next work session meeting on March 17.
