Our Surprising Mayoral Poll Results

From Friday April 29 to Friday May 6, the Douglasville Patch conducted a poll asking our viewers who they would elect as mayor and if package sales of alcohol should be allowed on Sundays.

Thank you to the more than 72 Douglasville Patch viewers who participated in our first-ever poll. We assembled a list of announced and possible candidates running for Mayor of Douglasville this November. There were only three questions. We also wanted to ensure that each vote is connected to a unique email address so we requested that information as well.

The poll was conducted for a week and promoted through Twitter and Facebook. Some responders voted twice or did not leave an email address and those votes were not counted.
