Brooke Yancey has assumed the duties of Administrative Assistant to Douglas County Administrator Eric Linton, according to a release from the County. Yancey is a Douglas County native, and a 2008 graduate of Alexander High School. She attended Georgia Highlands College, and formerly worked for DC Bank/Hamilton State Bank as a teller. She is the daughter of Robby and Tami Yancey of Douglasville.
Yancey stated that she “liked working in and with the people of her home community and the interaction with friends and neighbors” and that is why she sought the Administrative Assistant position. She “feels welcomed at the Courthouse and is looking forward to helping citizens every day” through her position.
