Meet Your Candidates: House District 67

Democrat Leigh Mcmutry and Republican Micah Gravley spoke to voters at Tuesday's candidate meet-and-greet event put on by the Paulding Chamber of Commerce.

Residents of State House District 67 have seen a change in their House race since the July 31 primary.

In that election, Republican and incumbent Bill Hembree and Democratic challenger Leigh Mcmutry won the nominations of their respective parties after each ran unopposed.

Since then, Hembree resigned to pursue the GOP nomination for the District 30 State Senate seat. Now in his place on the ballot is Micah Gravley, who was named by GOP leaders last month to be the party's candidate in the general election.
